what should i have done about this sticky situation?
Yesterday afternoon i was at a friends house she decided to make us a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. As she was making it she turned her head for a brief second.While her head was turned her lil dog jumped up and knocked jelly all over my new blouse. That's not all when i tried to get up to clean it off i tripped over her cat.
I was so upset i started yelling and prob said something about her husband and how he needed to get his lazy ass some damn wood and build that dog a house and the cat also. should i have been upset. i know she is not mad at me but what would you have done. one more thing i love animals.
sounds like you overreacted. if you love animals then you should know they are a hazard. its not her poor husbands fault. apologise.

Is peanut butter, jelly, or bread bad for a cat or dog? And I don't mean in making them fat; I mean like chocolate is bad for them.
I was just making some peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for lunch, then I got a phone call. Because I get bad reception inside my house, I took it outside and was on there for a while.
When I came back in, the cat had knocked one sandwich down to the dog and was licking at the other one. I just want to make sure I don't need to take them to a vet or something.
Are any of these things bad for them? Especially the cat, she is nursing a kitten and I don't want the kitten being messed up either.
None of these things are known to be toxic to cats and dogs. However animals, like us, can have reactions to absolutely anything. Worse that might happen is vomiting/diarrhoea. If this happens feed skinless chicken only until the diarrhoea clears up - if it doesn't improve within 48 hours then vets.
